A very interesting take. I have posed this question to countless born-again Christians time and again and all I get are delusional answers. Frustrated, they usually walk-off saying that I am blind !! Questions like : - "What was in that tree anyway and what was it doing there"? "Was it a prehistoric aphrodisiacaly soaked pomegranate tree that lured them into a brief ecstasy"?

You know where this leads? So maybe God had never intended for humanity to procreate but to have them for himself all the time. Maybe this was Gods way of dealing with his own insecurity. Maybe God knew that at some point of time, he had to let the human race go.
