Great article, but bear in mind - at that time "whoever" was applicable to a Jews only members club. All the instances you mentioned were Jews. There was just the one miracle of the centurion's servant at the point of death (and that too the servant was probably Jewish too). Jesus was free to mention whoever - since he was followed by and ministered only to the Jews. It wasn't till much later after the vision of Paul and the unclean animals : God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean" (Acts 10:28). If salvation was indeed meant for mankind, it did seem that Jews were shown the directors-cut first before the theatre was opened to all.
