Russia is playing an infinite game; at this point, there seem to be two options for Ukraine, both of which are far-fetched. The first option is to approach NATO for funds; what is NATO there for? Otherwise, no wonder the last POTUS was livid about how much financial help Uncle Sam had provided and how restrained they were. The EU may refuse to agree, as it also fears being drawn into a larger conflict. The other option is to hope that Donald J. Trump wins re-election and invites Putin to the White House for a meeting, which may go against the wishes of his own party, but they would be unable to prevent it. Then, a deal will be struck for Russia to withdraw from Ukraine in exchange for Zelensky digging up dirt on Hunter Biden, which can then be used to impeach the whole Biden family and satisfy some broken egos!!
