While I really like the 5 options given as future jobs, I always have the same question. How many of such jobs do we have to go around? For instance, how many Planetary Ethos Alchemists do we need to have? Many tech folks today are just throwing in the towel and giving up with all the changes in AI happening at light speed, as the author rightly termed the "club of dancing fleas". Most of these jobs connect with the human element and do not seem to involve any complicated knowledge of calculus, linear algebra, statistics or the elaborate data science circus. Question is if the nerdy stuff is all being handled by AI, how will the nerds survive?
